Guelph, Ont., May 13, 2016 – Community members are invited to a public open house about food vehicles, which include food and ice cream trucks and food carts, in Guelph. Participants will have an opportunity to provide input on where they would like to see food vehicles in the city.

Proposed changes to the Zoning By-law will permit food vehicles to operate on both private and public property in certain zones, such as commercial areas and parks.

The food vehicle zoning bylaw review is part of Guelph’s approach to food vehicles that includes a summer downtown food vehicle pilot and a review of Guelph’s Business Licensing By-law.
